North Plainfield Schools - Alternate Drop Off Locations

North Plainfield High School
Drop off on Harrison Avenue and the students walk down Walnut Street or Chestnut Street to school. Crossing guard is at the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Walnut Street. A marked crosswalk for students is at the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Chestnut Street.

Middle School
Drop off on Grove Street and students walk to school. Pick up students at the roundabout in the parking lot off Greenbrook Road.

Stony Brook School
Drop off/Pick up students on Duer Street at Dupont Street, and cross with crossing guard at Grove Street and Dupont Street.

West End School
Park vehicles on Parkview Avenue, Rockview Avenue, or Ayers Avenue. Children should walk towards to crosswalk at the intersection of Ayers Avenue and Rockview Avenue or Greenbrook Road and Harrington Avenue. Cars should then depart the area via another road other than Harrington Avenue.

East End School
Drop off/Pick up students on Hurley Avenue and cross with crossing guard at Oneida Avenue and Hurley Avenue.

Somerset School
Drop off/Pick up students on Somerset Street or Jackson Avenue east of Somerset Street. Use crossing guard at the intersection to cross.

Charter School
No changes necessary. Drop off on Manning Avenue, parking lot or Westervelt Avenue, and use the marked crosswalk.
